Care Packages for College Students

We would like to repeat the Kindness in Progress care package to soldiers project, this time with our college students. Select a student from a provided list and send them a care package as they begin to prepare for finals and let them know their church back home is praying for them and sending them well wishes.

On March 14 the names and addresses of college students and the required boxes will be available for you to pick up. There will be more information when you select an envelope. You will be responsible to mail your package at a cost of less than $15 using the provided USPS box. Boxes can be filled with snack foods, homemade goodies, gift cards, etc. Make sure the office has an updated address for college students connected to our church. Email addresses to shirley@reachteachserve.org as soon as possible.

Pick up a provided Large Flat Rate Priority US Postage Box at church (12" x 12" x 5-1/2") starting Sunday, March 14 (or pick one up at the post office). Keep the size of the box in mind when you purchase items, as your space is limited.

Need some ideas - do a GoodSearch.com internet search (make sure you select your charity as Cicero Christian Church) for "college care package" and you'll get a slew of sites that can provide you with lots of inspiration.
