Final Weigh In: Saturday, March 27
Weigh-In will take place in private in room 112 (library). After the first and before the final weigh-in, the weigh-in will be on the honor system. Results will be kept private. Only total weight and percentage of weight loss of the entire team will be posted. Only first and last weigh-ins are mandatory. Honor system rest of the time.
All participants must weigh in on the start date (January 10) and end date (March 28) in the same or similar outfit (t-shirt and shorts suggested). No spandex required (or suggested!)
You may come with a team of 8, or you'll be assigned to a team on the first day.
We want all participants to use responsible methods of weight loss – eat smaller portions of well-balanced food group offerings and exercising. If you have health concerns that may be affected by dieting, consult your physician.
Exercise videos will be made available for check out through the coordinators.
There will be a drawing on the first meeting for some free Zumba sessions (Tuesday and Saturday at CCC) for a lucky lady.
Weekly weigh-in percentage loss will be posted on our church website periodically following the weigh-ins and on the recreation bulletin board across from the office.
The team who loses the greatest percentage of weight after the weigh-in on March 28 will be the winner. Each individual on the winning team will receive a gift card. The individual who loses the largest percentage of weight will receive a 19" flat-screen television (bigger if we can find a bargain!).
Every participant who completes the challenge will receive a giveaway of some sort - it has been t-shirts in the past but may change this year.

We encourage you to sign up for the Pound for Pound Challenge from Biggest Loser who will donate 10 cents for every pound lost to Feeding America. So considering that as a whole we lost 103.1 pounds in week 1 alone, we would have donated $10.31 to the food bank. Assuming we keep up this weight loss amount we would donate well over $100 to Feeding America. |
Weekly weigh-in percentage loss will be posted on our church website weekly following the weigh-ins and on the recreation bulletin board, and sent by email to those who signed up.
The team who loses the greatest percentage of weight after the weigh-in on March 28 will be the winner. Each individual on the winning team will receive a gift card. The individual who loses the largest percentage of weight will receive a 19" flat-screen television (bigger if we can find a bargain!).
Every participant who completes the challenge will receive a Biggest Loser: Cicero Edition t-shirt - hopefully a size smaller than at the start!

who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
