In Beth Moore's new video series, A Beautiful Mind, she covers how the enemy is out to steal, kill and destroy you with fear, which is the root of rejection, insecurity and jealousy.

Beth ignites you to quit believing the lie of the enemy that you are losing your mind. She not only shares her personal story in learning this important and life-changing lesson, but also opens the Word to show you how to claim your right in Christ to a beautiful, sound mind.

When you walk in the victory and power of Christ, He is your constant source of stability. No matter what comes your way, Jesus is your sound reasoning, the lover of your soul and a healer of your mind.

In this powerful series, you'll learn to:

  • Reclaim your right in Christ to be a free, healthy and whole person
  • Replace your spirit of fear with the spirit of Christ
  • Renew your mind by living in the Word of God

Grades 1 and 2 will be Livewires in our new age-specific programming, and The Fuse is especially formulated for grades 3-5. Class begins at 6:15 for about an hour through May 26.
  • Adults — 5 Weeks / 5 Ministers / 5 Love Languages

For each of five weeks a different minister - Tim, sSteve, Doug, Chad, and Ben - will discuss in detail one of the five love languages from the materials by Gary Chapman.

What if you could say or do just the right thing guaranteed to make that special someone feel loved? The secret is learning the right love language! Learn the love language you speak, as well as discover how your loved ones best feel loved.

Words of Affirmation  Actions don’t always speak louder than words. If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important—hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. Insults can leave you shattered and are not easily forgotten. Tim & Katherine Lueking / April 28

Quality Time  In the vernacular of Quality Time, nothing says, “I love you,” like full, undivided attention. Being there for this type of person is critical, but really being there—with the TV off, fork and knife down, and all chores and tasks on standby—makes your significant other feel truly special and loved. Distractions, postponed dates, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful. Ben & Devon Radant / May 5

Receiving Gifts  Don’t mistake this love language for materialism; the receiver of gifts thrives on the love, thoughtfulness, and effort behind the gift. If you speak this language, the perfect gift or gesture shows that you are known, you are cared for, and you are prized above whatever was sacrificed to bring the gift to you. A missed birthday, anniversary, or a hasty, thoughtless gift would be disastrous—so would the absence of everyday gestures. Doug & Lisa Wiggers / May 12

Acts of Service  Can vacuuming the floors really be an expression of love? Absolutely! Anything you do to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on an “Acts of Service” person will speak volumes. The words he or she most want to hear: “Let me do that for you.” Laziness, broken commitments, and making more work for them tell speakers of this language their feelings don’t matter. Steven & Joyce Hancock / May 19

Physical Touch  This language isn’t all about the bedroom. A person whose primary language is Physical Touch is, not surprisingly, very touchy. Hugs, pats on the back, holding hands, and thoughtful touches on the arm, shoulder, or face—they can all be ways to show excitement, concern, care, and love. Physical presence and accessibility are crucial, while neglect or abuse can be unforgivable and destructive. Chad & Megan Allen / May 26

Four Week Study for Women
from Beth Moore

Wednesday - April 28-May 26
6pm, room 220 (upstairs)

no fees, no books, no homework

childcare and meal available first 2 weeks only

Loving Well by Beth Moore features four heart-to-heart messages designed to help women embrace the biblical mandate to love and to develop skills for loving others. Taped at a Living Proof Live event, Beth discusses how some people are a joy to love, some are difficult to love, and how we all deal with some people who are humanly impossible to love. In all of those relationships one truth endures: We will never be able to love others well until we have been loved well. And only God can ultimately give us the complete love we so desperately need.

Class members will determine if the class will skip spring break, April 7, and end on April 21, or if they will meet four weeks straight.

Unfortunately, the 5-week study we intended to use, A Beautiful Mind, is not yet shipping from the distributor. It is still on order and will be used in the future.

Worship Choir practice begins at 7:15pm
