Children’s Ministry SuperStart Conference

Overnight conference for grades 4-6 is coming to Indianapolis February 5 & 6. Fee of $50 includes food, sessions and plug-n-play time. Money and forms (see Pastor Ben) due January 13. We'll be overnighting at our church, Pastor Ben can give you details on what to bring.

Invite Pastor Ben to join you for school lunch!

Monday is my designated day to share lunch with you. Just contact Pastor Ben at ben[at]reachteachserve.org (or call 984-4653, extension 18) with the following information:
* Name
* Grade
* School
* Teacher's name
* Room #

Then please ask that your parent contact the teacher before I get there, so they can plan accordingly.

Children in grades 1 & 2 and 3 through 5 attend Sunday School at 8:45am. For children staying for children’s worship, the teachers will escort them to the family life center for Kid’s Church Live at 10:30am, where children are picked up from there by their parents. Children are promoted to the class they will enter in the fall on the first Sunday of June. For other class times, click here.

Children’s Worship

Kids’ Church Live
is a worship service geared for children in grades 1 through 5 during the 10:30am worship service in the family life center. It provides some awesome rockin’ worship, with relevant lessons and small group time for the children to get to know others and let the message sink in.

Curriculum for Kids’ Church Live

Elevate is a Children's Worship curriculum from Creative Pastors Life and Leadership Resources. Elevate teaches children first through fifth grade how to apply Bible concepts and stories to their daily lives with a fun, creative approach.

Children experience each week of Elevate in three parts: an opening activity, a large group teaching time with skit and Bible story, and a small group time with several choices of activities.

Worship: Do your kids love to sing at the top of their lungs? Do they jump around and dance at the drop of a hat? If so, we welcome kids to do that and more as we worship our God. Imagine a gym full of kids all worshipping God in an energizing and meaningful way and you get what worship is like in Kids’ Church Live!

Bible Lessons: The Bible lesson is geared to your child’s level The lesson can cover a Biblical concept, Bible story, or even break down a scripture in an exciting way. Bible lessons are interactive, and interesting.

Small Groups: After the large group time together that has worship and the lesson, it’'s time for small groups! There the children will be split into 2 groups: first, second and third graders and fourth and fifth grader. In these small groups the children will have a chance to work on their memory work for the day, work on their Activity Guides, and fellowship with one another.

Special Needs

We have support staff available for children with special needs through our disability ministry, Friends Unlimited Junior (FUJ). Let Children's Minister Ben Radant know if you would like this ministry to be put into action.
